JOURNAL OF SPORTS SCIENCES: GUIDELINES AND ARTICLE FORMAT

General Rules

1. The author(s) acknowledge(s) that the study is original, has not been submitted to another journal for publication, and has not been published previously. They accept responsibility for the views expressed in the study.
2. Research articles must adhere to the principles regarding human and animal studies outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki; an ethics committee report is mandatory and must be submitted digitally via the DergiPark system during submission.
3. The authors bear full responsibility for obtaining permission from the owners to use measurement tools such as scales, questionnaires, inventories, tests, etc., employed in the study.
4. Authors submitting work to the journal are required to digitally upload a Publication Rights Form bearing the wet-ink signature of each author to the DergiPark system. Publication rights for published articles belong to the Journal of Sports Sciences (SBD).
5. Material published in SBD may only be quoted by citing the source. Individuals or organizations that quote or publish the material are legally liable for any distortions in the content.
6. Researchers are required to retain all research data for a period of five years. In accordance with both our publication policy and the regulations of international publishing bodies, authors may be asked to provide study data and analysis software if deemed necessary.
7. The editorial board reserves the right to modify wording within the manuscript as deemed necessary.
8. The timeframe for acceptance or rejection decisions depends on the review process of the scientific advisory board.
9. No payment is made for articles published in SBD. 10. Manuscripts not prepared in accordance with the general rules and the article template will not be considered for evaluation.
