OKUL ÖNCESİ 5-6 YAŞ GRUBU ÇOCUKLARIN BİLİŞSEL GELİŞİMLERİ İLE SOSYAL BECERİLERİ ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Bu araştırmada, okul öncesi 5-6 yaş grubu çocukların bilişsel gelişimlerinin sosyal becerilerine etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, Konya ili Merkez Selçuklu ilçesindeki resmi ilköğretim okullarının anasınıflarına devam eden, 5-6 yaş grubu 190 çocuk oluşturmuştur. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre çocukların bilişsel gelişimleri ile sosyal becerileri (kişiler arası beceriler, kızgınlık davranışlarını kontrol etme ve değişikliklere uyum sağlama becerileri, akran baskısı ile başa çıkma becerileri, kendini kontrol etme becerileri, sözel açıklama becerileri, sonuçları kabul etme becerileri ve dinleme becerileri) arasında pozitif yönde orta düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu belirlenmiştir. Sonuçlar doğrultusunda, çocukların bilişsel gelişimlerinin sosyal becerilerini etkileyen önemli değişkenlerden biri olduğu belirtilebilir

INVESTIGATION OF RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT AND SOCIAL SKILLS OF CHILDREN 5-6 WITH PRE-SCHOOL AGE GROUP STUDY

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to investigate the social skills and cognition developments and focus whether there is a connection in-between in the preschool group that includes the age of 5-6. The researches focus group was formed of 190 children who were at the age of 5 to 6 years and were studying in school in Konya (main state) related to Ministry of National Education. Related to the outcome of the research, children’s cognition development scores, there social skills, anger management, communication with the peer, getting over the peer-effect, self monitoring, oral communication skills, getting along with the outcomes, goal management and finishing a given task by time, it’s seen that all these points are related to their score in cognition development. Results in line to be one of the important variables that affect social skills, cognitive development of children can be specified
