Abstract

Çalışmanın amacı, bilgi toplumuna geçiş sürecine paralel olarak özellikle son beş yıl içerisinde neredeyse hayatın her alanında önemi gittikçe artan büyük verinin, dünyada yer alan iyi uygulama örnekleri ışığında incelenmesi, Türkiye'deki mevcut durumunun kamu sektörü ve kamu politikaları açısından ele alınması ile muhtemel kullanım alanlarının araştırılmasıdır. Çalışmanın konusu olan büyük verinin kamu politikalarının belirlenmesindeki ve uygulanmasındaki rolüne ilişkin Türk kamu yönetimi yazınında yeterli sayıda çalışmanın mevcut olmayışı çalışmanın önemini arttırmakta, çalışmanın yazında önemli bir eksikliği dolduracağı düşünülmektedir.

BIG DATA ON THE DETERMINATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PUBLIC POLICIES

Abstract

The aim of the study is to analyse big data, whose importance has increasingly grown almost in every sphere of life particularly in the last five years in line with the transition process to the information society, in the light of the increasing number of good practices around the world, to discuss the current situation in Turkey in terms of public sector and public policies, and to examine the possible use areas. It is considered that the lack of studies regarding the role of big data on the determination and implementation of public policies in the Turkish public administration literature increases the importance of the study and is expected to fill a considerable gap in the literature.
