Ethical Principles and Publication Policy

ETHICS

The Journal of Sport Education is committed to the highest standards of research and publication ethics. If ethical misconduct is suspected, the Editorial Board will act in accordance with relevant international publication ethics guidelines (i.e. COPE guidelines, ICMJE Recommendations, CSE White Paper on Publication Ethics, WAME resources, WMA policies and ORI).

DISCLAIMER

Plagiarism is a serious problem and the most common ethical issue affecting scientific writing. Journal of Sport Education does not allow plagiarism in any way. As per our journal policy, submitted manuscripts are scanned at least twice (during the evaluation process and before publication) with plagiarism software to detect cases of overlapping and similar text.

We use "iThenticate" to scan all submissions for plagiarism. High similarity scores, even above 20%, can lead to rejection of an article even after it has been accepted.
