Diş Hekimliği Lisansüstü Öğrencilerinin Lisansüstü Eğitim ve Dijital Diş Hekimliğine Bakış Açılarının Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Amaç: Diş hekimliği lisansüstü eğitiminde dijital teknolojik gelişmeler oldukça önemli bir role sahiptir. Bu çalışmada diş hekimliği doktora ve uzmanlık öğrencilerinin, diş hekimliği lisansüstü eğitimi ve dijital teknolojik cihazlarla ilgili görüşlerinin değerlendirilmesi amaçlandı.
Gereç ve Yöntemler: Çalışma anket ile veri toplama yöntemi ile gerçekleştirildi. Toplam 3 ana başlıkta hazırlanan anketler farklı üniversitelerin diş hekimliği fakültelerinde lisansüstü eğitim gören diş hekimlerine uygulandı. Anketler toplam 205 diş hekimliği uzmanlık ve doktora öğrencisine uygulandı. Sonuçlar deskriptif ve frekans analizleri kullanılarak analiz edildi.
Bulgular: Yapılan analizler sonucunda, ankete katılanlar lisansüstü eğitimin % 70.2 oranında gerekli olduğu şeklinde cevapladı. Katılımcılar % 90.3 oranında dijital teknolojik cihazların yapılan işlemleri kolaylaştırdığı görüşünü belirttiler. Ankete katılanların % 64.4’ü dijital diş hekimliğinin gelecekte spesifik bir uzmanlık dalı olarak kabul görmeyeceği şeklinde görüş belirtti.
Sonuç: Anket sorularına verilen cevaplar neticesinde; uzmanlık ve doktora gibi lisansüstü eğitimin günümüzde bir gereklilik olduğu ve dijital teknolojik cihazların diş hekimliğinin bütün dallarında işlemleri kolaylaştırarak önemli faydalar sağlayan ekipmanlar olduğu anlaşılmaktadır.

Evaluation of Dentistry Graduate Students' Views on Postgraduate Education and Digital Dentistry

Abstract

Background: Digital technological developments play a very important role in post graduate education. In this study, it was aimed to evaluate the opinions of dentistry doctoral and specialty students about dentistry post graduate education and digital technological devices.
Methods: The study was carried out using a questionnaire and data collection method. The questionnaires prepared under 3 main headings in total were applied to post gaduate dentist students in dentistry faculties of different universities. The questionnaires were applied to a total of 205 dental specialty and doctoral students. Results were analyzed using descriptive and frequency analysis.
Results: The analysis shows the following; 70.2% confirm the necessity of postgraduate education. 90.3% recommend the technological devices to facilitate the work flow. 64,4% confirm that the Digital Dentistry will not be a seperate speciality.
Conclusion: As a result of the answers given to the questionnaire questions; It is showed that postgraduate education such as specialization and doctorate is a necessity today and digital technological devices are equipment that provide significant benefits by facilitating procedures in all branches of dentistry.
