Effect of Irrigation Water Salinity on Some Yield Parameters and Potassium Uptake of Fresh Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.)

Abstract

This study was carried out to determine the effect of irrigation water salinity on pot yield and potassium uptake for fresh bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) grown in a greenhouse. First, five potassium rates, K_{0} = 0 K₁ = 100, K_{2} = 200 K_{3} = 400 and K₁ = 800 ppm K, applied as a potassium chloride solution. And then, the plants were irrigated with four salinity levels ( T_{0} = 0, 25 * dS / m , T_{1} = 1 * dS / m T_{2} = 2 * dS / i * n T_{3} = 3 * dS / m * l ) As a result, irrigation water salinity increased sodiuın (Na) content while it decreased fruit number and weight. The relationship between K uptake of the plant and other characteristics were found nonsignificant.

Sulama Suyu Tuzluluğunun Taze Fasulye Bitkisinin (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) Bazı Verim Parametreleri ve Potasyum Alımına Etkisi

Abstract

Bu araştırına, sulama suyu tuzluluğunun, taze fasulye (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) verimine ve potasyum (K) alımına etkisini belirlemek amacıyla sera koşullarında yürütülmüştür. Denemede beş farklı potasyuın düzeyi (Ko = 0 ppm, K_{1} = 100 ppm, K₂ = 200 ppm, K_{3} = 400 ppm, K_{4} = 800 ppm) ve dört farklı elektriksel iletkenlikteki ( T_{0} = 0.25 dS/m, T_{1} = 1 * dS / m T_{2} = 2 * dS / i * n T_{3} = 3 * dS / m ) sulama suyu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, sulama suyu tuzluluğu arttıkça sodyııın kapsamı, meyve ağırlığı ve meyve sayısı azalmıştır. Bitkinin potasyum alımı ve diğer özellikleri arasındaki ilişki istatistiksel olarak önemsiz bulunmuştur.
