In this research socio-economic situations and consumption structures of dairy products of households were investigated in urban area of Isparta. Monthly averages of dairy products consumed by families were calculated as 14.22 kg fresh milk, 2.38 kg pasteurised milk, 7.10 kg yoghurt, 3.30 kg white cheese, 0.63 kg kashar cheese, 0.64 kg tulum cheese (filled in a skin), 1.08 kg butter and 0.78 kg çökelek (cheese made of curds).
Bu çalışmada, Isparta ili kentsel alanda ailelerin sosyo-ekonomik durumları, süt ve süt ürünleri tüketim durumu incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucuna göre, ailelerin aylık ortalama 14.22 kg sokak sütü, 2.38 kg UHT süt, 7.10 kg yoğurt, 3.30 kg beyaz peynir, 0.63 kg kaşar peyniri, 0.64 kg tulum peyniri, 1.08 kg tereyağı ve 0.78 kg çökelek tükettiği belirlenmiştir.
