The Ankara University Journal of Social Sciences is a peer-reviewed, international, and open-access periodical published since 2009. Its aim is to publish original scientific research articles in Turkish and/or English in the fields of social and human sciences. The authors are solely responsible for the ideas and opinions expressed in the articles. All publishing rights of accepted articles are permanently owned by the Ankara University Institute of Social Sciences.

The journal is indexed in "Index Copernicus International (Master List)", "Social Science Research Network (SSRN)", "Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)", and the "ISAM Database of Turkish History, Literature, Culture, and Art Articles".
