The Ankara University Journal of Social Sciences is a peer-reviewed periodical that has been published since 2009. Its purpose is to publish original scientific research articles in Turkish and/or English in the fields of social and human sciences. The author(s) are responsible for the ideas and opinions expressed in the articles. 

The journal is indexed in the European Reference Index for the Humanities and Social Sciences (ERIH PLUS), the Social Science Research Network (SSRN), the Modern Language Association (MLA), and the İSAM Database of Turkish History, Literature, Culture, and Art Articles.
