The Ankara University Journal of Social Sciences is an international, peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Ankara University Institute of Social Sciences.

The journal aims to increase and disseminate scientific studies that will contribute to the scientific development of all disciplines in the social and human sciences in Turkey and around the world.

Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be of a nature that thoroughly examines developments and issues related to the journal’s scope, presents the scientific literature from an objective perspective, develops measurable and applicable recommendations for these developments and issues based on scientific methods, and makes a direct contribution to the field.

Authors of manuscripts submitted to the journal must hold an academic title or be a doctoral student enrolled in a doctoral program.

Manuscripts not related to the journal’s purpose, focus, and scope will not be published. However, the Editorial Board may review manuscripts submitted to the journal and refer them to other journals published by Ankara University.

The journal covers all disciplines in the social sciences and humanities in Türkiye and around the world.
