The Strategic Public Management Journal (SPMJ) is an international peer-reviewed (double-blind review) and open-access scholarly journal initiated by an international consortium aimed at supporting academic research in the fields of public administration and strategic management. SPMJ aspires to serve as a robust resource for issues related to democratic transition processes, public administration reforms, strategic public management practices, and comparative analyses of administrative systems.
The overarching thematic focus of the journal encompasses management sciences. As a result of contemporary interdisciplinary approaches, the articles published in SPMJ address specific topics within public administration, local governments, strategic management, public policy, administrative law, policy analysis, regional development, social progress, public finance, urban planning, program evaluation, ethics, and comparative administrative systems.
