Appendices should be placed after the References section, with each appendix beginning on a separate page. Appendix headings should be left-aligned, bold, and written in uppercase (e.g., APPENDIX 1:).
If a source is cited in a footnote, it must also appear in the References section. Conversely, sources that are not cited within the text should not be included in the References.
Manuscripts written in Turkish should conform to the spelling and punctuation rules prescribed by the Turkish Language Association (Türk Dil Kurumu). Whenever possible, Turkish equivalents should be preferred over foreign terms. Where the use of a foreign term is necessary, its original-language equivalent may be provided in parentheses upon first mention. Foreign-language words appearing in the text should be italicized.
For manuscripts written in English, as well as the English abstracts and other English-language sections of Turkish manuscripts, authors are strongly encouraged to have the text reviewed by a qualified language editor prior to submission. Manuscripts found to be inadequate in terms of language quality and academic writing may be returned to the author for revision before being considered for peer review.
