Publication Ethics
Stratium: Journal of International Migration and Security Studies is committed to the principles of international scholarly publishing. The journal adheres to the ethical standards established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and conducts all editorial and publication processes in accordance with these principles.
Fundamental Principles
Peer Review Process: All manuscripts submitted to the journal are evaluated through a double-blind peer review process by at least two independent experts in the relevant field. The review process is conducted in accordance with the principles of impartiality, objectivity, confidentiality, and academic transparency.
Originality and Research Integrity: Submitted manuscripts must be original, must not have been previously published, and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submissions are screened for plagiarism using similarity detection software before entering the review process.
Research Ethics Approval: Studies involving human participants or animals must have received approval from the appropriate institutional ethics committee. Where applicable, information regarding ethics approval should be clearly stated in the manuscript.
Declaration of Conflicts of Interest: Authors, reviewers, and editors are required to disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest that may influence the editorial or peer-review process.
Data Transparency and Availability: The journal expects the data and research methods underlying published studies to be transparent and verifiable. When requested by the editorial office, authors are expected to make the relevant data and methodological information available.
Academic Responsibility: The opinions, interpretations, and conclusions expressed in published articles are solely those of the authors. While the journal supports academic freedom and intellectual diversity, it does not assume responsibility for the content of published manuscripts.
By adhering to these principles, Stratium aims to maintain the highest standards of publication ethics, scientific integrity, and academic excellence, thereby serving as a reliable and respected platform for international scholarly research.
