The Journal of Turkish Academic Research Review Writing Rules [e-ISSN: 2602-2923]

1. Articles submitted to the journal must not have been previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere.
2. The headings in the article must be fully consistent with the content and adequately express it.
3. The template to be used in the article contains instructions on formatting and layout, as well as a style gallery. All information regarding font size, paragraph spacing, etc., must comply with these instructions, and styles from the style gallery must be used where necessary.
4. Before uploading the final version of works to be uploaded to the system, especially those approved for publication, the author's name, ORCID ID, and email address must be added to the relevant sections of the file, along with institutional information in both Turkish and English.
5. References to sources used in preparing the work, figure and table numbers should not be mentioned in the “Abstract.”
6. The first keyword should be the main field of study (department), and four more keywords should be added (five keywords in total). All keywords, except for proper nouns, should be written in lowercase letters, separated by commas, and without a period at the end.
7. The entire study should be a maximum of 10,000 words. Studies exceeding this limit will be returned to the author for reduction of the total word count.
8. Tables, figures, visuals, graphs, etc. included in works submitted to the journal should have a maximum width of 12 cm. Each should be numbered and titled. The necessary details are provided in the template file.
9. All text within the images, graphs, and figures added to the work must be legible; letters, words, etc., must not be illegible.
10. Direct quotations of fewer than 40 words should be enclosed in double quotation marks (quotations within quotations should be enclosed in single quotation marks). Direct quotations of 40 words or more should be given as block quotations according to APA 7 rules (as detailed in the template).
11. Endnotes (if necessary) should only be used for explanations. References to be provided within the page should be given as “in-text citations” within the text in accordance with APA 7.
12. Articles undergo the following stages: spelling and plagiarism check, peer review, language check, editing, proofreading, and publication.
13. The study should follow a clear and straightforward narrative approach. Unnecessary information that goes beyond the scope and purpose of the study should not be included.
14. In preparing the article, valid scientific methods should be followed; information such as the subject, purpose, scope, and rationale for the study should be provided in sufficient detail and in a specific order.
15. All references in the study should be provided in accordance with APA 7 using Zotero. References that do not comply with this rule will not be accepted and will be returned to the author (with a request for correction).
16. Manuscripts that do not comply with the above rules or the instructions in the template will be returned directly to the author (with a request for revision) at the beginning of the writing review process.
