Land consolidation is the only way to solve the problem of land fragmentation, which is a major agricultural disruption. However, it is a difficult practice to realize because it directly concerns the property right. In order for consolidation to be adoption by the landowners, all stages of the projects must be managed well from the beginning to the completion. In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the views of landowners about some behaviors and processes in various stages of consolidation projects. For this purpose, a survey was conducted with a total of 346 landowners in 19 settlements where land consolidation was carried out in Çanakkale province. Within the scope of the research, the attitudes of the landowners towards consolidation prior to the project and their behavior and opinions at the information meetings were examined. Also, whether the owners objected to the new parcel plans and property lists, their opinions regarding their new land and the cost imposed on them by the project were investigated. At the result of the research, it is recommended to take the necessary measures in practice in order to adopt and increase the success of land consolidation projects, based on the thoughts and behaviors of the agricultural landowners.
