Dr. Cihan Bayrakdar received his Bachelor's degree from Istanbul University, Department of Geography in 2002, his Master's degree from Istanbul University, Physical Geography in 2006 on ‘Applied Geomorphology’ and his PhD degree from Istanbul University, Physical Geography in 2012 on ‘Glacial Geomorphology’. Bayrakdar also completed his post-doctorate on ‘Cosmogenic Dating’ at the Geological Institute of Bern University in Switzerland in 2014.
