Yeşilova Höyük, in the south of Manda Stream, is a mound settlement located on an alluvial hill in the Karacaoğlan District within the borders of İzmir-Bornova. As a result of the scientific excavations carried out in the region, where the earliest traces of settlement date back to the Neolithic Age, a large number of bone industry items, constituting an important group of finds of it, were found. Aforementioned findings were classified and subjected to techno-typological examinations and evaluations, and important scientific data on the Yeşilova bone industry were obtained. Among the industrial items, there are tools for daily work such as awls, spatulas, tool handles, drills from the Neolithic Age, Early Bronze and Late Roman periods, as well as weaving tools such as shuttles, carpet combs, perforated needles, and weapons such as arrows, spearheads and daggers.
