The purpose of the journal is a scientific and peer-reviewed journal, in which original research-based articles aiming to contribute to studies in tourism-related fields at national and international level are published.
The journal is committed to maintaining the highest level of integrity in the content published.
This journal has a Conflict of Interest policy in place.
The journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and subscribes to its principles on how to deal with acts of misconduct thereby committing to investigate allegations of misconduct in order to ensure the integrity of research.
The journal may use plagiarism detection software to screen the submissions. If plagiarism is identified, the COPE guidelines on plagiarism will be followed.
Content published in this journal is peer reviewed (Double Blind).

Dr. Samiha Chemli is an Associate Professor of Hospitality and Tourism Management and the Coordinator of University Relations (CIDE) at the University of Deusto. She has extensive expertise in hospitality and tourism management, in leading companies, managing cross-functional teams, and providing consulting services. With over 19 years of academic and managerial experience, she has contributed significantly to teaching and program development in Tunisia, South Korea, and Spain. Her research focuses on innovative tourism practices, especially on Web 3.0 and the use of immersive learning and virtual reality in higher education. At the University of Deusto, she runs Virtual Labs, in collaboration with colleagues, across the fields of Tourism and Business.
Dr Chemli is also assigned, since 2022, as the General Secretary of the African Region - World Rural Tourism Council China.
Małgorzata Wiścicka-Fernando, PhD (ORCID ID 0000-0001-9928-3335), is an assistant professor at the University of Szczecin, Department of Marketing. She holds a PhD in Economics. Her main research areas include Marketing, Relationship Marketing, Sustainable Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, and Communication. She is the author of numerous scientific publications and has actively participated in both national and international conferences. She is a certified tutor. As a researcher, she collaborates with several universities across Europe and Asia. In the commercial sector, she utilises the potential of augmented reality (AR) and integrates it into marketing activities in various industries. She also acts as a consultant for several marketing agencies.
Kelaniyage Shihan Dilruk Fernando is an experienced business professional with 13 years in banking, finance, and insurance. He has six years of experience in corporate management. He has been teaching at the West Pomeranian Business School in Szczecin, Poland, since 2019. His research interest focuses on sustainable management, and he is an expert in quantitative research design and analysis. Additionally, he is a member of the Winnet Centre of Excellence® and a member of the research team at the UNESCO Chair for Social Sustainability at the University of Szczecin, Poland. He earned a Diploma in Public Management and a Bachelor of Science in Management (Public) General External Degree from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management and a Master’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Colombo. Furthermore, he has obtained a Professional Qualification in Human Resource Management from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management in Sri Lanka. He counts the number of international project experiences as a project member that are funded by the Swedish Institute, the International Visegrad Fund, and the European Commission.
