Dr. Priyanka Shah (PhD, CSIR Research Associate-Chemical Sciences) is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Chemistry) at School of Forensic Science, NFSU Gandhinagar Campus. She did her Bachelors (2010), Masters (2012), MPhil (2013) and PhD (2017) in Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry, Gujarat University. She was a Gold medallist at Masters Level and was awarded Junior & Senior Research Fellowship from DST INSPIRE, Government of India, New Delhi for her PhD in 2014.

 She worked as a CSIR-Research Associate at the Department of Chemistry, Gujarat University 2018-2021 and has Published more than 80 articles (including research, review, editorial articles, commentary and book chapters) in various international journals of repute with h-index 21 and total citations of 2027. She has been awarded the 'Best Paper Presentation' in various national and international conferences. She has more than 6 years of research and teaching experience. Her primary domains of expertise are the fields of quantitative bioanalysis, analytical and bioanalytical method development and validation in pharmaceutical analysis. 

She is an active reviewer for over 35 peer-reviewed journals from prestigious publishers such as Elsevier Science, American Chemical Society, Wiley, Future Science and many others and has reviewed more than 150 research papers. She has been appointed as a Young Editorial board member of “Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis (JPA)”, Elsevier Science (December 2021-December 2025) and Editorial Board Member for the "Journal of Chemistry, Environmental Sciences and its Applications”, Chitkara University Publications, Chandigarh, India.   

Dr. Hüseyin Şahin is a professor at Giresun University, Türkiye. His main research interests include the bioactivity of natural products—particularly bee products and edible or non-edible plants—medicinal chemistry, enzyme inhibition, and chromatographic techniques.

In recent years, his research has focused on:

1. Determining the bioactive properties of functional foods, particularly their antioxidant and antimicrobial activities.
2. Chromatographic analysis of food components, including phenolic compounds, sugars, and physicochemical parameters using techniques such as HPLC, GC, and LC–MS.
3. The identification and development of direct analytical methods for the quantification of bioactive compounds in foods using chromatographic techniques.
4. Evaluation of enzyme inhibitory activities of natural compounds.

Dr. Şahin has published numerous original research articles and conference papers in these fields. His academic output includes 50 papers in international journals indexed in Web of Science or Scopus, three invited book chapters in international books, and approximately 50 proceedings presented at national and international congresses.
