Aim & Scope

The aim of International Journal of Turkic Dialects (TÜRKLAD) is to introduce “national and indigenous” materials of Turkology and to serve Turkology by publishing the works within the framework of universal principles, values and methods. To contribute to the field by publishing scientific and original articles related to Turkish language and dialects of Turkish language, producing solutions to problems, composing sources for the other works related to the field, bringing new perspectives and new aproaches to the studies related to the field are among the aims of TÜRKLAD. TÜRKLAD also aims to present the studies about the Turkish language and dialects to the knowledge of academic community and to serve to the extension academic studies related to the subject, to compose the information related to the field on academic and theoretical level, and discuss them, to conribute to the spreading of scientific knowledge among the scientist who study in the field of Turkish language and dialects and to contribute to strengtening communication. One of the aims of the TÜRKLAD is to move the center of this scientific field into the international arena in the studies of Turkish language and its dialects through Turkey. 

FOCUS AND SCOPE

       INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF TURKIC DIALECTS (TÜRKLAD) (e-ISSN 2587-1293) is an international peer-reviewed journal in which researchers and academics working in the field of Turkology, especially in Modern Turkish written languages and literatures, can publish their scientific studies. TÜRKLAD is common scientific publication of Turkish world which give place to the articles written in any of the Turkic languages with its original language and alphabet.

       International Journal of Turkic Dialects (TÜRKLAD) is being published by an international group of academics who are mainly from Turkey and Turkish world under the leadership of academics in the Department of Turkish Language and Literature and Modern Turkish Language Dialects and Literature, Faculty of Humanity and Social Sciences in Fırat University.

       The fundamental mission of TÜRKLAD is to introduce the material “national and indigenous” of Turkology and to serve Turkology by publishing the works within the framework of universal principles, values and methods.  TÜRKLAD, as an international peer-reviewed journal began its publishing life in 2017. TÜRKLAD publishes 2 issues in a year, in January and in June since 2017.

Publication Frequency

TÜRKLAD, is published as two isssues in December and June. The journal accepts articles only for the upcoming volume. Authors can send their articles whenever they want.

 

Archiving Policy

TÜRKLAD, is using the system LOCKSS to create a dispersed archiving system among the available libraries and to allow these libraries to create permanent archives for protection and restoration.

 

Submission / Article Processing Charges

TÜRKLAD, is an open access journal within the terms of Creative Commons 4,0 International License  (CC-BY-NC). No fees are charged for submitting and publishing manuscripts. No copyright fees are paid to authors for publishing articles.

Privacy Statement

      TÜRKLAD is an “Open Acsess” journal and it presents the published studies to open access directly. The journal aims to contribute to the development and promotion of science with the “Open Access” policy. Provided that the references are shown based on standards, TÜRKLAD presents, except for commercial use and content change, its all rights (unless otherwise stated in the relevant content) to use (linking online, copying, printing, multiplication and spreading etc.) through Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC)
