Aim & Scope

Religion and Philosophical Research is published by the Society for Philosophy of Religion. Based on the culmination of the experience attained through the scholarly activities of the society, the purpose of publishing this journal is to publicize the contribution of scholars studying philosophy of religion and to promote philosophical, theological and other scholarly works on the concept and fact of religion. The journal features original studies addressing the ontological, epistemological, ethical, historical, and social dimensions of religion, thereby contributing high-quality scholarship to the national and international academic literature in the fields of religion and philosophy. Interdisciplinary studies are welcome as well as articles produced within the confines of one scientific discipline.

Religion and Philosophical Research is an international journal that intends to feature original contributions to the scholarly research concerning religion and Philosophy. The contributions shall include philosophical reflection concerning religion as well as academic perspectives of various disciplines making up religious studies. It will also feature contributions concerning cultural and academic activities, interviews, book reviews and obituaries.
