In line with this general purpose, in this study, the distribution of the studies published between the years 2000-2020 by years, the purposes for which they were conducted, how they were designed, the characteristics of the participants in the studies, the data collection tools used, and their findings were analyzed. Within the scope of the study, electronic searches were made by writing relevant keywords in the search engines of GoogleScholar, EbscoHost, ERIC, SAGEPub, ProQuest, PsycINFO, and ScienceDirect databases. During the literature review, 2460 articles were reached, and 35 studies were analyzed according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Findings show that eight qualitative, 23 quantitative and four mixed emthod studies were conducted using different data collection tools with individuals with Asperger syndrome and / or high functioning autism of different ages and genders.
