UASBD accepts original scientific research/review articles on topics in the field of social sciences, and Turkish and English are preferred as publication languages.
UASBD supports the idea of open and free information sharing within the framework of the Budapest Open Access Initiative, as well as taking into account the policies of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics). The copyright of the articles belongs to our journal, but there is unlimited and free access to the articles.
For this purpose, free and unlimited access to the content of the journal is provided. Our journal is archived in DergiPark. 
In UASBD, it is obligatory to upload a plagiarism report in all articles, the upper limit of the similarity rate is 20%.

The average period of pre-evaluation of the articles is 7 days.
The referee evaluation period of the articles takes approximately 6-12 weeks. There are cases where this period is exceeded.
At every stage of the article, the author is informed about the article and the referee reports are shared openly with the author.
The referee list is announced at the end of the year.
UASBD publishes 4 issues per year and publishes a maximum of 20 articles in each issue.
From 2023, the broadcast period has changed as follows:

İssue 1 (March Issue) by 30 March at the latest;
Issue 2 (June  Issue) by 30 June at the latest;
Issue 3 (Semptember Issue) by 30 Semptember at the latest;
Issue 4 (December Issue) will be published on 30 December at the latest.
Double-blind refereeing system is applied in our journal. In cases where two referees have different opinions, the editors decide whether the article will be sent to the third referee or whether it will be published.
An article processing fee is charged (2.000 TL) at the time of article submission in our journal, regardless of the acceptance/rejection condition. The arbitration process cannot be initiated before this fee is paid.
Half of the deposited fee is returned to the author in the articles rejected as a result of normal processes.
However, in cases where the referee reports are notified to the author, no refund will be made if the author refuses/does not correct/wants to withdraw the article.
Authors who submit articles to the journal are deemed to have accepted this responsibility in advance.
The copyright of the published articles belongs to our journal; The authors are deemed to have transferred this right when sending the article to our journal.
Accepted articles are published as full text in the "ACCEPTED ARTICLES" section, by giving a DOI number on the web page without waiting for the issue to appear.

Articles are evaluated by double-blind refereeing.
