A RESEARCH ON THE IMPACT OF DİGİTAL TRANSFORMATİON PRACTİCES ON ORGANİZATİONAL RESILIENCE

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how businesses can strengthen their ability to cope with crises and uncertainties by integrating digital technologies through a holistic approach. A quantitative design was adopted, and data were collected via a survey from 226 employees in sectors where digital transformation is most prevalent, including banking and finance, insurance, telecommunications, information technology, and retail. The findings indicate a positive and significant relationship between digital transformation and organizational resilience, with digital transformation identified as a strong predictor. In conclusion, effective implementation of digital transformation enhances organizational resilience. This study contributes to the literature by empirically analyzing the effects of digital transformation on the sub-dimensions of resilience (robustness, redundancy, competence, and agility).

DİJİTAL DÖNÜŞÜM UYGULAMALARININ ÖRGÜTLERİN DAYANIKLILIĞI ÜZERİNDEKİ ETKİSİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, işletmelerin dijital teknolojileri bütüncül bir yaklaşımla organizasyonlarına entegre ederek krizler ve belirsizliklerle başa çıkabilme yeteneklerini geliştirebileceğini incelemektir. Araştırmada yöntem olarak nicel yaklaşım benimsenmiş ve anket tekniği kullanılmıştır. Katılımcılar, dijital dönüşümün en yoğun yaşandığı bankacılık ve finans, sigorta, telekomünikasyon, teknoloji-bilişim ve perakende sektörlerinde çalışanlardan seçilmiştir. Kolayda örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenen toplam 226 kişiden veri toplanmıştır. Bulgular, dijital dönüşüm ile örgütsel dayanıklılık arasında pozitif ve anlamlı bir ilişki olduğunu göstermektedir. Ayrıca dijital dönüşümün, örgütsel dayanıklılığın güçlü bir yordayıcısı olduğu saptanmıştır. Sonuç olarak, dijital dönüşümün etkin bir şekilde uygulanmasının örgütsel dayanıklılığı artırdığı ortaya konulmuştur. Bu yönüyle çalışma, dijital dönüşümün örgütsel dayanıklılığın alt boyutları (sağlamlık, yedekleme, beceri ve atiklik) üzerindeki etkilerini ampirik olarak analiz ederek literatürdeki sınırlı araştırmaları genişletmekte ve konuya özgün bir katkı sunmaktadır.
