Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Compliance Policy
The Journal of International Relations and Politics (ULIPOD) embraces principles of sustainability, ethics, and social impact in academic publishing. Our journal aims to enhance the contribution of research in the field of international relations towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
1. Adopted SDGs and Contribution Methods
SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy
ULIPOD encourages the publication of academic research on energy policies, international energy cooperation, and sustainable energy sources. Through this, the journal supports international dialogue and policy development for access to clean and affordable energy.
SDG 13: Climate Action
By supporting studies on climate change and environmental sustainability from an international relations perspective, ULIPOD aims to contribute to shaping global climate policies. The journal prioritizes themes such as climate diplomacy, international environmental agreements, and climate justice.
SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions
ULIPOD prioritizes publishing in-depth analyses on peace, security, rule of law, and democratic institutions. In this respect, the journal aims to contribute to the fields of international law, human rights, conflict resolution, and international governance.
2. Supporting SDGs Through Publication Policy
To increase contribution to these goals, ULIPOD:
• Organizes special issues and calls focused on SDG themes,
• Encourages authors to approach their research from an SDG perspective,
• Provides open access to knowledge without barriers,
• Upholds ethical and sustainable academic practices in publishing,
adopting these as core principles for a sustainable scientific ecosystem.

Our journal maintains an ethical, transparent, and inclusive publishing approach, offering equal opportunities to all academics.

ULIPOD commits to regularly reviewing and updating its policies and practices in line with sustainability goals to continuously improve.
Publishing Institution
The Journal of International Relations and Politics (ULIPOD) is published by the International Relations and Politics Association (ULIPOD).
The Association is a non-profit civil society organization established to conduct scientific research and organize academic activities in the fields of international relations, international politics, political history, international law, security studies, regional studies, migration studies, diplomacy, political economy, and foreign policy. It carries out a wide range of academic activities—including seminars, conferences, workshops, congresses, and training programs—and participates in national and international projects within these areas.
In line with this mission, our journal serves as one of the Association’s academic periodical publications.
