Abstract
Hüseyin Nihal Atsız is one of the most important figures of Turkish literature. Atsız, who is one of the defenders of Turkism / Turanism views, is a Turkish intellectual who has continued her influence from her time as a successful poet and writer as well as being an intellectual. Ruh Adam is a novel written by Hüseyin Nihal Atsız. In the novel, the mental state of a man who devoted his life to military service after being discharged from the military profession, his falling into a love dilemma, his struggle with his own soul due to being torn between his mind and heart is told. The novel, in which symbolism is at the forefront, takes the readers on different journeys. In the novel, which carries traces of Atsız's own life, the soul's reincarnation (reincarnation), love deadlock, exhaustion syndrome, conflict of mind and heart, self-alienation, destiny, despair, honor, history, poetry and literature, friendship, belief, questioning, light, devil Subjects and themes such as death, melancholy mood, judgment, loyalty, betrayal, mercy, self-sacrifice, loneliness and destiny are covered. In addition, in this work, the failing aspects of the period are also criticized. The aim of this study is to examine Hüseyin Nihal Atsız's Ruh Adam in terms of novel technique. In this context, this novel; plot, subject and thematic plane, people, place, time and point of view and narrator, language and style.
