Author Guide
This guide has been prepared to explain the process and the way to follow the authors who submitted articles to Usbad International Social Sciences Academy Journal.
1. If you are not a member, subscribe to DergiPark.
2. Download the "Word" format under the "Article Template" heading from the main page of Usbad International Social Sciences Academy Journal (https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/usbad). Prepare your article file by organizing your article according to this template.
3. Download the "Word" file under the "Copyright Agreement" heading from the main page of Usbad International Social Sciences Academy Journal (https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/usbad). Prepare the Copyright Agreement file by reading, filling and signing.
4. Click the "SEND ARTICLE" link from the main page of Usbad International Social Sciences Academy Journal (https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/usbad). Upload the article file and the Copyright Agreement file that you prepared previously (articles 2 and 3) to the system by following the instructions.
5. The text uploaded to the system is subjected to editorial evaluation as soon as possible. This assessment covers three stages:
a. Assessment of the article as a form: At this stage, the control of whether the Usbad International Social Sciences Academy Journal is complied with the spelling guide, the principles of spelling and the sources of citation.
b. Checking whether the article's “essence” and its keywords written in Turkish, English (or any other language) are appropriate for the article.
c. Analysis of the similarity of the article with the program İntihal.net.
6. If there is a deficiency in these three operations, the article is rejected. The rejection here indicates that the deficiencies should be eliminated. The article's unpublished status will be notified to the author with the title "Your article has been rejected".
7. The article that passes the preliminary evaluation is sent to two referees who will evaluate the article after the author and the elements that will show the identity of his article are removed. At this stage, it is not possible to provide any information flow between the referee and the author, since only the articles free from the author information are sent to the referees.
8. Book introduction articles sent to the journal are not sent to any referee, they are subject to editorial evaluation only. At the end of the process, electronic notification is made regarding whether the article is placed in the publication queue or not.
9. The referees have 15 (fifteen) days to evaluate the letter sent to them and to submit their proposals, if any.
10. Any of the referees may submit a positive report, a negative report or a correction report about the article. When the negative report is submitted, the article will be sent to the third and final referee within 48 hours at the latest. Positive or negative referee reports will be sent to the author via the system.
11. If the referee asks for correction, this is notified to the author electronically and no further notification is made. The author uploads the article back to the system after making the corrections requested by the referee. The reinstallation is not done in the form of submitting a new article. Clicking the orange "Send File" link to the right of the dialog requesting correction will open the place where the author will correct and upload the article. If the referee has checked the "I want to see" option to reload this article, the article is sent to the referee and the referee can re-examine and report a positive and negative report.
12. The second referee assigned to the article via the system may also request a positive report, a negative report or a correction report. If the second referee requests a correction, the corrections requested by the referee are not made over a new document, but a single file containing the corrections requested by the first referee.
13. The corrections requested by the editor or referees may include the "abstract" and "abstract" sections.
14. Articles that receive a positive report or whose corrections are deemed appropriate are placed in publication order. The articles that are placed in the publication order and put into the string for publication are sorted alphabetically according to the order of upload to the system or the surname of the author. In addition, the article is subjected to a classification in itself: bibliography, new discoveries and book promotions.
15. Usbad International Social Sciences Academy Journal is published twice a year and these dates are June and December. Calls for articles, deadlines for sending articles etc. Announcements such as are published on the website of the journal and sent to members by e-mail.
16. Regardless of the nature of the article, each author must submit their ORCID information to the journal secretariat. The article of the author without ORCID or researcherid information associated with it is not published in the journal.
17. The articles, the process of which is completed and placed in the publication order, are published electronically without any charge.
18. Usbad International Social Sciences Academy Journal, published in electronic environment, acceptance, evaluation, publication of the article and at this stage, it is a magazine that conducts all the processes of communicating with the author in electronic form. For this reason, the authors It is important that the e-mail addresses they upload are valid and correct. However, there are generally “edu.tr” extension addresses In all e-mail addresses, there are occasional difficulties in receiving the incoming message or mail is “spam” (spam) or falls into the "trash" box. The responsibility of this situation belongs to the author.
