Usul Islamic Studies

Started in 2004 under the auspices of İlim Yayma Foundation, Usul Journal of Islamic Studies continues its publication life under the auspices of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University as of 2019. Usul is a scientific refereed journal published twice a year, in June and December. (Article submission dates: June issue : January 1 - May 1; December issue : July 1-November 1). Usul aims to publish previously unpublished articles in Turkish, Arabic and English in the field of theology (Social Sciences and Humanities/Religion); book, thesis, conference and symposium reviews and scholarly interviews. Articles submitted for publication are subjected to double blind peer review by at least two referees. In addition, a special plagiarism detection program is used to verify that the articles have not been published before and do not contain plagiarism.
