Year 2022, Volume: 93 Issue: 2, 166 - 172, 15.06.2022

Abstract

Abstract

Street foods mostly consist of local, seasonal and fresh ingredients that represent the local culinary culture of the country or region where they are sold. Therefore, these foods are very valuable for local food habits and play an important role in the preservation of cultural and social heritage. Organization (FAO), approximately 2.5 billion people consume street food every day. From this point of view, safe supply is an important agenda item in street foods with a large consumption volume. It is socio-economically important to keep the concept of street food, which is a part of the eating and drinking culture, alive for generations.
