Wood Industry and Engineering

Wood Industry and Engineering (WI&E) is a peer-reviewed international scientific journal which publish twice in each year (Jan-June and July-Dec.) and publishes original articles, review, technical notes and extended conference papers on basic and applied research dealing with the science, technology, and engineering of wood and wood-based products, wood constructions, wood composites, wood chemistry, nanotechnology applications in wood science, adhesives and bioresins, biomaterials, physiomechanical properties of wood-based materials, furniture design and manufacturing, archaeological wooden structures, wood anatomy, forest products marketing and business management, operational research, and non-wood forest products. Articles concerned with pulp and paper, fiber resources from non-woody plants, wood-inhabiting insects and fungi, and environmental and ecological issues in forest products are also included.

The manuscripts submitted to the journal are reviewed by at least two reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area. The review period is expected to be completed in 2-3 months. Based on the reviewers’ comments; manuscripts are accepted, rejected or accepted with revisions. Please note that the the editors reserves the right to change submissions for paper types (research article, technical note, review article etc.) depending on the contents of submissions.

We do not charge any publication fee from the authors for papers to be published in WI&E Journal.
