The journal accepts manuscripts in English only. All submissions must be accompanied by a valid proofreading (language editing) certificate. Authors are required to ensure that their manuscripts comply with the journal’s formatting and writing guidelines and to upload an approved proofreading certificate issued by a professional language editing service or the authorized foreign languages unit of their institution. Manuscripts that do not conform to the journal’s guidelines and/or are not supported by a valid proofreading certificate will be desk-rejected without further review.
As of April 2026, in accordance with the Editorial Board's decision, the journal aims to publish studies that contribute to the literature and have practical implications in the fields of economics, business administration, public administration and political science, public finance, econometrics, labor economics, and international relations. In line with the journal's title and scope, only studies that focus on management and economics and include a clearly defined methodology section will be considered for publication. Manuscripts that fall outside this scope and/or do not contain a methodology section will not be considered for review.
In accordance with the journal’s publication policy, an author may submit a manuscript for evaluation only once every two years.
The number of articles authored by contributors affiliated with the same institution in a single issue shall not exceed 20% of the total number of published articles. If the calculation yields a fractional value, it will be rounded up to the nearest whole number.
The Journal of Management and Economics Research was originally established in 2003 under the title “Akademik Fener.” Since December 2011, the journal has been published electronically under its current title, Journal of Management and Economics Research (e-ISSN: 2148-029X). Since 2013, it has been published as a peer-reviewed academic journal, issuing four numbers per year (March, June, September, and December).
