Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Journal of Management and Economics Research (YEAD) aims to publish high-quality, original, and empirical studies that contribute to the literature in economics, business administration, public administration, political science, finance, econometrics, labor economics, and international relations.
In line with the journal’s title and scope, only manuscripts that focus on management and economics and include a clearly defined methodology section are considered for evaluation. Submissions falling outside this scope and/or lacking a methodology section are excluded at the preliminary assessment stage.
Manuscripts submitted to the journal for consideration must not have been previously published, accepted for publication elsewhere, or be under review by another publication outlet. Full responsibility for any submission that is simultaneously under review elsewhere or has already been published rests entirely with the author(s).
All issues of the journal are published electronically. The copyright of all published works belongs to the Journal of Management and Economics Research.
Manuscripts submitted for publication must be prepared in accordance with the journal’s author guidelines and publication principles. All submissions are initially subject to a preliminary review in terms of both form and content. Manuscripts deemed suitable in this initial screening are forwarded to the Editorial Board for reviewer assignment. Submission to the journal does not guarantee that a manuscript will be sent out for peer review.
Once a manuscript enters the peer review stage, the review process typically takes between 4 and 8 weeks. For manuscripts considered suitable by the Editorial Board, at least two reviewers are appointed. On the basis of the reviewers’ reports, a decision may be made to accept the manuscript for publication, request revisions, additional information, or shortening from the author(s), or reject the manuscript.
In cases where one reviewer submits a favorable report and the other an unfavorable report, the manuscript may, at the discretion of the Editorial Office, be referred to a third reviewer. When one reviewer recommends rejection and the other recommends major revision, the Editorial Board evaluates the manuscript and decides whether to proceed with peer review.
