Aim
YILDIZ Journal of Educational Research (YJER) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, academic, and international online journal published by the Faculty of Education at Yıldız Technical University. Aiming to publish original and up-to-date academic studies in the field of educational sciences, YILDIZ Journal of Educational Research (YJER) provides a platform for evaluating, reviewing, and discussing the findings of these studies with relevant institutions and stakeholders. The journal is a distinguished academic platform published twice a year (in June and December). It aims to encourage scientific discussion in the field of education and disseminate important research findings. YILDIZ Journal of Educational Research (YJER) aims to address the dynamic and multifaceted nature of education from a broad perspective and accepts new and original articles that contribute to the field. YILDIZ Journal of Educational Research (YJER) encourages various research methods, including qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods, to provide empirical insights into the complex structure of the educational world. The journal accepts articles written in Turkish and English, and values the originality and scientific contribution of submitted works.
Scope
The Yıldız Journal of Educational Research (YJER), in line with the departments of the Faculty of Education at Yıldız Technical University, publishes original or review articles in the following fields:
- Computer and Instructional Technologies Education
- Educational Sciences
- Mathematics and Science Education
- Primary Education
- Turkish and Social Sciences Education
- Foreign Languages Education
In addition to original and review articles, book reviews and evaluations are also included. The journal features empirical research using qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods approaches. A double-blind peer review model is applied in the peer review process. The publication languages are Turkish and English. It is published regularly twice a year. The journal may also publish a special issue once a year with the decision of the editorial board.
