Yazar Yozgat’ın Sorgun ilçesinde doğdu. İlköğretim ve ortaöğretimini Sorgunda tamamladı. Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi’nde lisans eğitimini bitirdi. İstanbul’un Esenyurt ilçesinde sınıf öğretmenliği yaptı ve İstanbul Üniversitesi Eğitim Bilimleri Enstitüsü Sınıf Öğretmenliği programında yüksek lisansını tamamladı. Gazi Üniversitesi Eğitim Bilimleri Enstitüsü Sınıf Eğitimi programında doktora eğitimine başladı. Ayrıca Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Temel Eğitim Bölümü Sınıf Eğitimi Ana Bilim Dalında araştırma görevlisi olarak çalışmaya başladı ve hala aynı yerde Dr. Öğr Üyesi olarak çalışmaktadır.

Assoc. Prof. Bünyamin BAVLI completed his undergraduate studies in Teaching English as a Foreign Language in 2006. Immediately after graduation, he worked as an English Language Assistant at Georg Kerschensteiner High School in Frankfurt, Germany, as part of the European Union's Comenius Language Assistant Program during the 2006–2007 academic year. From 2007 to 2014, he served in various roles within the public education sector, including English teacher, vice principal, and EU Project Specialist at the Provincial Directorates of National Education in Diyarbakır and Istanbul. During this period, he participated in numerous project visits across EU countries and engaged in various international collaborations. In 2011, he earned his master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a thesis focusing on teachers' critical thinking skills. In 2014, he began working as a Research Assistant in the Department of Educational Sciences at Yıldız Technical University. Between 2016 and 2017, he was a visiting researcher at the University of Warsaw in Poland, where he conducted his doctoral research supported by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK). He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Yıldız Technical University, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate-level courses. Beyond his teaching and research, he serves as a steering committee member of the WERA Global Research Network on Extended Education and is an Associate Editor of the Interactive Learning Environments journal (SSCI Q1). His research interests include higher-order thinking skills, extended education, social-emotional learning, extracurricular activities, student engagement, and action research.
Prof. Dr. Ali ERYILMAZ 2001 yılında Gazi Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi, Psikolojik Danışmanlık ve Rehberlik Bölümü’nden mezun olduktan sonra 2004 yılında Ankara Üniversitesi Eğitim Bilimleri Enstitüsü Eğitim Psikolojisi ABD’da bilim uzmanlığını ve 2009 yılında ise, Eğitim Psikolojisi ABD’da doktorasını tamamlamıştır. 2004-2010 yılları arasında Pozitif Psikoterapi alanında temel ve master eğitimini tamamlayarak “Pozitif Psikoterapist” unvanını almıştır. Doç. Dr. Ali Eryılmaz, 2010-2017 yılları arasında Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesi’nde Eğitim Bilimleri Bölümü, Psikolojik Danışmanlık ve Rehberlik Anabilim Dalında öğretim üyesi olarak görev yapmıştır. Kitabın yazarı, 2017 yılından itibaren İstanbul Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi’nde Eğitim Fakültesi, Eğitim Bilimleri Bölümü, Psikolojik Danışmanlık ve Rehberlik Anabilim Dalında öğretim üyesi olarak görev yapmaktadır. Ayrıca, 1996-2003 yılları arasında sırasıyla; Ankara 112 Acil Kurtarma Birimi, Polatlı Devlet Hastanesi Acil Kliniği ve Niyazi Karabey Sağlık Ocağı gibi sağlık kurumlarında sağlık memurluğu yapmıştır. 2003-2010 yılları arasında ise, Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı’na bağlı Pursaklar Sağlık Meslek Lisesi’nde ve Ankara Lisesi’nde psikolojik danışman olarak görev yapmıştır. 2011-2012 yılları arasında TSK 28. Mknz. Barış Gücü Tugayında psikolojik danışman olarak çalışmıştır. 2005 yılından beri pozitif psikoloji alanında çalışmalarda bulunmaktadır. Lisans ve yüksek lisans düzeyinde verdiği çeşitli derslerin yanında üç yıldır kuramsal ve uygulamalı olarak Pozitif Psikoterapi, Bireyle Psikolojik Danışma Uygulamaları ve Grupla Psikolojik Danışma derslerini yürütmektedir. Akademik ilgi alanları arasında pozitif psikoterapi, danışman eğitimi, süpervizyon modeli, okulda motivasyon, yaşam amaçları, romantik ilişkiler, öznel iyi oluş, mutluluk, derse katılım ve barış gibi konular yer almaktadır. Demet Aydın completed her bachelor’s degree in Preschool Education at Marmara University in 2017, her master’s degree in Early Childhood Education at Yıldız Technical University in 2020, and her PhD in Preschool Education at Marmara University in 2024. Her research focuses on inclusive education, science education, and art education. She has served in various roles, including teaching, educational administration, and curriculum development, at different levels of the Turkish Ministry of National Education. She has also played an active role in international projects, such as the Early Childhood Education Project. She has published articles in national and international journals and has participated in projects conducted by various private organizations and non-governmental organizations. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Preschool Education at Yıldız Technical University.
Prof. Murat İnce completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Denizli, Türkiye. He received his B.A. in English Language and Literature from Kocaeli University in 2005. He earned his M.A. and Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (2011) and Ankara University (2016), respectively. His research interests include teacher education, curriculum and instruction, comparative education, and international educational research. He has published extensively in national and international peer-reviewed journals and has contributed book chapters and conference papers in these fields. Between January 2006 and March 2025, he served as a faculty member at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, where he held several administrative positions, including Head of the Department of Educational Sciences, Head of International Office, and Member of the University Senate. Since March 2025, Prof. İnce has been a faculty member in the Department of Educational Sciences at Yıldız Technical University. Since November 2025, he has also been serving as the Director of School of Foreign Languages.

Ahmet Başal, PhD, is a full professor in the Department of Educational Sciences at Yıldız Technical University, Türkiye. He received his MA in English Language Teaching and his PhD in Curriculum and Instruction. His research interests include teacher education, computer-assisted language learning, curriculum and instruction, learning and instructional design, teacher professional development, academic writing, and English language teaching. His work particularly focuses on the meaningful integration of digital technologies into education to support effective teaching, learning, and teacher professional development.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa BAŞARAN, 1977 Yozgat, Sorgun doğumludur. İlk ve orta öğrenimini Sorgun’da tamamladı. 1994 yılında Gazi Üniversitesi, Gazi Eğitim Fakültesi, Sınıf Öğretmenliği Bölümünde başladığı lisans eğitimini 1998 yılında tamamladı. Aynı yıl Kars’ta sınıf öğretmeni olarak görev yaptı. 1999 yılında Gazi Üniversitesi, Eğitim Bilimleri Enstitüsü, Sınıf öğretmenliği Bölümünde başladığı yüksek lisansını 2003; doktorasını ise 2007 yılında tamamladı. Yazar halen Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Sınıf Eğitimi Anabilim Dalında çalışmaktadır. Türk kültürünün kurucu metinlerinde idealize edilen karakterin tespiti, idealize edilen bu karakterin Türk Milli Eğitim Sistemi içinde nasıl inşa edilebileceği ile okuma yazmanın öğretilmesi, geliştirilmesi, ölçülmesi ve değerlendirilmesi konularında çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.
1975 Ordu doğumlu. Doktorasını Sınıf Öğretmenliği Eğitimi Alanında Gazi Üniversitesi'nde tamamladı. Halen Ordu Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi'nde öğretim üyesidir.
Prof. Dr. Eyüp Sevimli is the Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Istanbul Medeniyet University and a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics and Science Education, specializing in Mathematics Education.
He completed his undergraduate degree in the Department of Secondary Science and Mathematics Education at Balıkesir University Necatibey Faculty of Education in 2007, followed by a master's degree in 2009 and a PhD in 2013 at Marmara University. He was awarded the title of Professor in the field of Mathematics and Science Education in 2023.
His academic research focuses primarily on mathematics education, with particular emphasis on improving mathematics teaching, teacher education, technology-enhanced mathematics instruction, digital learning, and online education. He has published numerous academic studies in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
In addition to his scholarly work, Prof. Dr. Sevimli is engaged in research and academic initiatives concerning the improvement of the quality of higher education, teacher education, curriculum development, and innovative approaches to education. He has served on various university committees and boards at Istanbul Medeniyet University and currently continues his academic and administrative work as the Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences.
2008 yılında Boğaziçi Üniversitesi Matematik Öğretmenliği'nde lisans eğitimini onur derecesi ile tamamlayan Oğuz Köklü, 2009 yılında Marmara Üniversitesi Atatürk Eğitim Fakültesi'nde araştırma görevlisi olarak çalışmaya başladı. 2012 yılında Teachers’ Content Knowledge in Teaching Slope of a Line başlıklı tezini Dr. Fatma Aslan-Tutak danışmanlığında Boğaziçi Üniversitesi Matematik Eğitimi alanında tamamladı. 2013 yılında YÖK bursu ile lisansüstü çalışmalarına ABD’nde The University of Georgia'da başladı. 2017 yılında Matematik Eğitimi doktorasını Students' Informal Notions of Variability başlıklı doktora tezini Doç. Dr. Jennifer J. Kaplan danışmanlığında tamamladı. 2014-2017 yıllarındaki akademik çalışmaları sırasında University of Georgia tarafından araştırma ve öğretim görevlisi olarak desteklendi ve 2017 yılında en iyi öğretim asistanı olarak ödüllendirildi. 2009-2012 yılları arasında araştırma görevlisi, 2017-2023 yılları arasında öğretim görevlisi olarak yılında Marmara Üniversitesi’nde çalıştı. Halen Boğaziçi Üniversitesi'nde çalışmakta olup ve istatistik eğitimi ve matematik öğretmen eğitimi üzerine çalışmalar sürdürmektedir. İstatistik eğitimi, matematik öğretmen eğitimi, olasılık öğretimi ve problem çözme üzerine yüksek lisans tezi yönetmiş ve 5 tanesi tamamlanmış olup halen istatistik ve olasılık eğitimi ile ilgili birçok araştırma yürütmektedir.
Mehmet TAŞPINAR was born in Konya. He completed his primary and secondary education in Konya and undergraduate education in Faculty of Technical Education at Gazi University. He worked as a technical teacher at Technical High Schools and Vocational High Schools in Eskişehir and Elazığ in 1984-1992. In 1992, he started to work as a research assistant in Faculty of Technical Education at Fırat University. He completed his master’s degree in the Department of Educational Sciences at the Institute of Social Sciences in 1993 and he completed his PhD in 1997. He stayed in Ohio State University in America for nine months in 1994 as a visiting scholar. He got the title of Ass. Prof in 1997 and title of Assoc. Prof in 2001. He worked in Turkish Manas University in Kyrgyzstan as a visiting scholar in 2003. He got the title of Prof. at the Department of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Vocational Education, Gazi University in 2007. In the same year, with the scholarship called JICA (Japon International Cooperation Agency), he went to Japan and carried out some works on “The Place of Private Sector in Education” for two months. His primary area of research is Education Programs and Instruction. He worked as a specialist, project manager and beneficiary in projects such as YÖK (Higher Education Council)-World Bank-Industrial Education Project, MTEM, UNICEF, AB-focused projects. He has published books, one of which was published abroad, articles published in international and national journals and conference presentations.
Dr. Hanifi Parlar, Assistant Professor in Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Istanbul Commerce University, İstanbul, Turkey. He finished his doctoral education in the field of Educational Administration and Supervision in the year of 2012. He has worked experience in education , school improvement and school leadership. He has published in a wide array of peer-reviewed journals. His research interests include capacity building school effectiveness, leadership development, teacher professionalism, instructional strategies and innovation im education. He has been working in İstanbul Commerce University as an assistant professor for six years. He generally studies about school improvement, teacher development, leadership and organizational development.
Prof. Dr. Özcan Erkan Akgün was selected for the Council of Higher Education Faculty Member Training Program in 1999. After completing his language education at the METU (Middle East Technical University) School of Foreign Languages, he earned his Master’s degree in Educational Technology from Ankara University, Graduate School of Educational Sciences, Department of Curriculum and Instruction in 2002, and completed his Ph.D. within the same department in 2005.
Between 2006 and 2015, he joined the Faculty of Education at Sakarya University as a faculty member in the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology (CEIT), where he served as vice department head, as well as on various departmental committees and as a coordinator. During these years, he took an active role in the education, training, and quality assurance committees of both the University and the Faculty. He served on the scientific board of the Sakarya University Development Foundation Schools (kindergarten, primary, middle, and high school) for one year (2008), and as the Assistant General Coordinator of the schools for another year (2009). From 2010 to 2015, he served as the Vice Director of the Graduate School of Educational Sciences from its foundational stage onward (excluding a one-year assignment abroad). During the 2011–2012 academic year, he worked at Texas A&M University's College of Education and Human Development, as well as at the AGGIE-STEM Project Center.
In November 2015, he began his tenure at the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Istanbul Medeniyet University. He served as the Head of the CEIT Department until 2018. Between 2016 and 2020, he worked as the Director of the Distance Education Application and Research Center, later handing over the role to a colleague from the team he had established. He also continued his role as Vice Dean from 2017 to 2021.
In 2023, he joined the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Ibn Haldun University. He continues his duties at this university as the Vice President, chair of the Artificial Intelligence in Education graduate programs, and a faculty member of the School of Educational Sciences.
He has numerous completed projects, articles, conference papers, books, and book chapters focusing on instructional design, enhancing learning, e-learning, distance education, technology integration in education, STEM, competencies in higher education, accreditation, effective learning-teaching, and learning motivation.
