Doç. Dr. Esra GÜZEL TANOĞLU, Sağlık Bilimleri Üniversitesi, Validebağ Araştırma Parkı, Moleküler Biyoloji ve Genetik Bölümü Öğretim Üyesi ve Adli Tıp Kurumu 5. İhtisas Kurul Üyesi olarak görev yapmaktadır. Haliç Üniversitesi, Moleküler Biyoloji ve Genetik Bölümü’nden 2009 yılında mezun olmuştur. İstanbul Üniversitesi, İstanbul Tıp Fakültesi, Genetik programında yüksek lisans ve doktorasını tamamladı. 2015-2016 yılları arasında ABD Cincinnati Children’s Hastanesinde ‘Graduate Research Assistant’ olarak görev yaptı. 2017 yılından bu yana Sağlık Bilimleri Üniversitesinde Öğretim Üyesi olarak görev yapmaktadır. Ocak 2022’de Tıbbi Genetik Doçenti olmuştur. Kanser ve çeşitli hastalıklarda MikroRNA’lar ve uzun kodlamayan RNA’lar başlıca çalışma konularıdır. Hakemli dergilerde 50 makalesi ve 10 adet kitap bölümü yayınlanmıştır. Birçok TÜBİTAK ve TÜSEB projesinde aktif görev yapmıştır. Tıbbi Genetik Derneği üyesidir.  

Yanko G. Kolev, MD, PhD, is the Head of the Department of Forensic Medicine at
the District Hospital of Gabrovo, Bulgaria, a senior lecturer of Forensic Medicine at
the Medical University of Pleven, and a national consultant of forensic medicine at
the Bulgarian Ministry of Health. He is a specialist in forensic medicine (forensic
pathology and clinical forensic medicine) and medical imaging (radiology). He holds
a Doctor of Medicine degree and a PhD in forensic medicine and forensic
entomology. Dr. Kolev received his training at the Medical University of Pleven, the
Medical University of Sofia, the University of Crete, the University Center of Legal
Medicine in Lausanne-Geneva, Switzerland; Zurich Institute of Forensic Medicine,
University of Zurich, Switzerland and other institutions.
Professional Experience: Forensic medicine since 1998: practical work (including
expert witness), research and teaching. Medical imaging since 2015: applications in
forensic imaging and postmortem radiology.
Dr. Kolev's practice areas include forensic pathology, forensic anthropology, forensic
entomology, crime scene investigation (CSI), forensic imaging, 3D imaging and
reconstruction, alternate light sources, clinical forensic medicine, medico-legal
investigation, and expert-witnessing. He is a lecturer at the National Institute of
Justice, Bulgaria, and gives lectures on diverse forensic subjects, including forensic
entomology, CSI, postmortem CT, forensic and 3D imaging at the National Forensic
Sciences University in India, as well as in Italy, Turkey, Greece, Uzbekistan, Croatia
and other countries.
His specific research interests in forensic medicine and pathology include autopsy
techniques, child abuse, the organization of forensic medicine, forensic entomology
and entomotoxicology, postmortem imaging and forensic radiology, virtual autopsy,

3D scanning, CSI, biological traces and special light sources. He has a special
interest in disaster victim identification (DVI).
He is a member of the editorial boards of several journals, including Forensic
Sciences Research, the Egyptian Journal of Forensic Sciences, Romanian Journal
of Legal Medicine, and the Zagazig Journal of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology. Dr.
Kolev is a delegate from Bulgaria to the European Council of Legal and Forensic
Medicine (ECLFM) and a member of the executive board of the Balkan Academy of
Forensic Sciences (BAFS). He is also the secretary and a member of the executive
board of the Bulgarian Association of Forensic Medicine and a member of numerous
professional organizations, including the International Academy of Legal Medicine
(IALM), the International Society of Forensic Radiology and Imaging (ISFRI), the
European Association of Forensic Anthropology (FASE), and the European
Association for Forensic Entomology (EAFE).
Dr. Kolev has received several national and international awards. He has been the
current president of the International Association of Forensic Sciences (IAFS) since
November 2023.

Prof. Adarsh a Gold medallist is currently Professor, Forensic Medicine & Toxicology at AIIMS, New Delhi, India. He is the first person in world to receive Commonwealth Fellowship at UK twice in year 2011 and 2015. He is also a Fellow of Royal Society of Medicine, London, IAMLE (2014), International Science Congress Association (2015), Indian Society of Toxicology (2016) & Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine (2020). He is honorary medicolegal Expert to National Human Rights Commission and Central Bureau of Investigation-topmost agency of criminal investigation in India since more than 15 years.

Prof. Adarsh has 27 years of teaching experience and medicolegal field work. Has guided 20 PhD/postgraduate students and conducted around 5000 autopsies. His PhD students have been from field of forensic toxicology and forensic anthropology who have done their MSc in Forensic Sciences from various universities from India and abroad. Has been examiner and subject expert in Forensic Medicine & Toxicology in various universities of 15 states of India including various AIIMS as well as Nepal, Mauritius & New Zealand. Delivered 5 orations & more than 100 lectures in various scientific conferences all over the world, published 85 papers, written 7 chapters in various textbooks, acted as Editorial board member and peer reviewer in 20 journals of speciality from India and abroad.

Represented the country at highest level as Governing Council Member of 3 International scientific organisations viz. International Academy of Legal Medicine, INPALMS as Secretary General & APMLA. Currently Hony. President of Indian Academy of Medicolegal Experts (IAMLE). He was honoured with Commendation Certificate for his exemplary work in field of Forensic Investigations & Human Rights by National Human Rights Commission in 2014. He was awarded with Education Award for Excellence by Indo-US Global Foundation in 2016, International Cooperation Medal by Government of Ukraine in 2020, Forensic Excellence Award in 2023 & First recipient of Pt. Jagdish Sharan Mishra Oration Award by IABS in 2024.
