Adhesion and Resin Cements

Öz

Resin cement systems are being renewed in todays dentistry, in parallel to the development of adhesive restorative materials. Manufacturers are trying to produce the ideal resin cement that is resistant to water and acid attacks, has the lowest microleakage, is compatible with the teeth and surrounding tissues, easy to apply and that has superior esthetic properties. Self-adhesive resin cement system was developed as an alternative to total-etch and self-etch resin cement systems and it is frequently used by clinicians as it is easy to apply. The aim of this review is to provide detailed information about adhesion concept and resin cement systems

Öz

Günümüz diş hekimliğinde adeziv restoratif materyallerin gelişimine paralel olarak rezin siman sistemleri de yenilenmektedir. Üretici firmalar; su ve asit ataklarına dayanıklı, mikrosızıntısı düşük, bağlanma dayanımı yüksek, diş ve çevre dokularla uyumlu, uygulaması kolay ve estetik özellikleri üstün ideal rezin simanı üretmeye çalışmaktadırlar. Total-etch ve self-etch rezin siman sitemlerine alternatif olarak üretilen self-adeziv rezin siman sistemleri uygulama kolaylıklarından dolayı klinisyenler tarafından yoğun bir şekilde kullanılmaktadır. Bu derlemenin amacı adezyon kavramı ve rezin siman sistemleri konusunda detaylı bilgi sunmaktır
