Self-Adhesive Resin Cements Part II: Adhesion to Restorative Materials

Öz

The success of prosthetic restorations is most likely related to the superior bond between not only tooth and cement, but also with cement and restorative material. The recently developed self-adhesive resin cements which includes acidic monomers has been introduced by manufacturers with their simplified application procedures. Furthermore, it has been discussed whether the use of these simplified resin cements could negatively affect the success of luting indirect prosthetic restorations. The aim of this review was to investigate current self-adhesive resin cements luting effectiveness to different restorative materials

Öz

Protetik restorasyonların başarısı büyük ölçüde diş ile siman arasındaki bağlanmaya olduğu kadar siman ile restoratif materyal arasındaki bağlanmaya da bağlıdır. Son yıllarda geliştirilen asidik monemer içeren self-adeziv rezin simanlar firmalar tarafından basitleştirilmiş uygulama aşamalarına sahip oldukları yönünde piyasaya tanıtılmışlardır. Bununla beraber bu bu basitleştirilmiş aşamalara sahip simanların indirekt restoratif materyallere bağlanmaları tartışılmaktadır. Bu derlemede, self-adeziv rezin simanların değişik restoratif materyallere bağlanma etkinliğinin araştırılması amaçlanmaktadır
