Türkiye U-14 Yaş Altı Futbol Milli Takımına Oyuncu Seçim Modeli: Bir Bursa Bölgesi Örneği

Futbol, "doğru" ve "yanlış" niteliklerin birkaç tek faktörle değil, çok yönlü bir dizi özellik dikkate alınarak incelenmesi gereken bir spor disiplindir. Bu bağlamda yetenekli oyuncuların seçiminde rol alan karar vericilerin bu süreçlerdeki pek çok unsuru bütüncül bir yaklaşımla değerlendirmeleri gerekmektedir. Bu çalışma Türkiye U14 Yaş Altı Futbol Milli Takımına Oyuncu Seçim Model’inin organizasyon yapısını ve karar verme süreçlerini Bursa Bölgesi örnekleminden hareketle incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Katılımcılara (n=14) amaçlı örnekleme yöntemiyle ulaşılmıştır. Veriler yapılandırılmış görüşme yöntemi ile toplanmış, frekans ve yüzdelere dayalı olarak yorumlanmıştır. Bursa bölgesi sorumluluğunda bulunan illerdeki antrenörlerin %82’si seçimi ildeki diğer antrenörlerle istişare ederek gerçekleştirdiklerini, %18’i ise seçimi kendisinin yaptığını ifade etmektedir. Katılımcıların %91’i seçimin birinci aşamasının gözleme dayandığını, %90’i yetenek seçim ölçütleri konusunda ortak bir uzlaşma olmadığını belirtmişlerdir. Ayrıca “Futbolda yetenek belirlemeye yönelik ölçütler yeterince açık mıdır? “sorusuna katılımcıların %74’ü hayır, % 26’sı ise evet cevabı vermiştir. Araştırma sonuçları “yetenekli oyuncu “tanımı ve yetenekli oyuncu ölçütleri konusunda ortak bir terminoloji oluşmadığını, daha çok yaşanmış ya da gözlenmiş anlatılara dayalı olduğunu göstermektedir. Bu bağlamda Genç Milli Takımlar hiyerarşisinin çok önemli ilk basamağı olan U-14 FMTOSM seçim modelinin yeniden gözden geçirilmesinin, zayıf ve tehdit oluşturan faktörlerin daha ilk aşamada asgari düzeye indirilmesinin Türk futbolunun geleceği bakımından gerekli olduğunu göstermektedir.

Football is a sport discipline that must be examined not based on a few single factors of “right” and “wrong,” but by considering a multifaceted set of characteristics. In this context, decision-makers involved in selecting talented players must evaluate the many elements of these processes with a holistic approach. This study aims to examine the organizational structure and decision-making processes of the Player Selection Model for the Turkey U14 National Football Team, based on a sample from the Bursa region. Participants (n=14) were reached through purposive sampling. Data were collected using structured interviews and interpreted based on frequencies and percentages. Eighty-two percent of coaches in provinces under the responsibility of the Bursa region stated that they made selections in consultation with other coaches in the province, while 18% stated that they made the selection themselves. Ninety-one percent of participants stated that the first stage of selection was based on observation, and 90% stated that there was no common agreement on talent selection criteria. Furthermore, when asked, “Are the criteria for determining talent in football sufficiently clear?”, 74% of participants answered no, while 26% answered yes. The research results show that there is no common terminology regarding the definition of a “talented player” and the criteria for talented players, but rather that it is based on experienced or observed narratives. U-14 FMTOSM selection model, which is a very important first step in the Youth National Teams hierarchy, and to minimize weak and threatening factors at the earliest stage.
