Öz

Son zamanlarda Aloe vera gibi birçok bitkisel ürün çeşitli hastalıklara iyi geldiği düşüncesiyle yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. Birçok aktif biyolojik bileşik içeren bu ürünlerin yan etkileri konusunda ise literatürde bilgi eksikliği vardır. Bu yazıda Aloe vera kullanımına bağlı ciddi toksik hepatit gelişen bir olgu sunulmaktadır

Severe toxic hepatitis due to Aloe vera: Case report

Öz

Many plant extracts such as aloe vera have been used recently, and their positive effects in various diseases have been suggested. However, there is a lack of data about the adverse effects of these products, which include many active biological compounds. In this report, we present a case with severe toxic hepatitis due to use of Aloe vera.
