Insect Growth and Its Effects on Cereals during Storage

Öz

Significant quality and yield losses occur during the storage of cereals. Insects are mainly responsible from these losses. Insect population rapidly increases and may cause significant losses if they find favorable conditions in cereals during storage. In this study, insect growth, factors affecting insect productivity and losses due to insects during storage of cereals were reviewed

Tahılların Depolanması Sırasında Böcek Üremesi ve Etkileri

Öz

Depolama sırasında tahıllarda hem kalite hem de verim açısından önemli kayıplar meydana gelmektedir. Bu kayıplara sebep olan faktörlerin başında ise böcekler bulunmaktadır. Depo zararlısı böcekler uygun koşullar bulduğu takdirde tahıl depolarında hızla çoğalarak önemli kayıplara neden olmaktadırlar. Bu derlemede tahılların depolanması sırasında böcek üremesi, buna etkili faktörler ve böceklerin neden olduğu kayıplar hakkında bilgi verilmeye çalışılmıştır
