İNTİHAR ÖNCESİNDE KAYDEDİLEN VİDEOLARIN VE NOTLARIN İÇERİK ANALİZİ YÖNTEMİ İLE İNCELENMESİ

Öz

İntihar girişimlerinin medya aracılığıyla sunulan video içerikler ve intihar notları üzerinden öne sürülüyor olması, toplum ve bireyin içinde bulunduğu durumu anlamak adına önemli bilgiler sunmaktadır. Araştırma, 01.03.2024-01.04.2024 içindeki intihar vakalarının son videolarını kapsayarak, bireysel ve toplumsal boyutlarıyla intiharın ne anlama geldiğini geniş bir perspektiften ele almayı amaçlamaktadır. İntiharın ifade biçimleri, toplumsal işlev açısından ve bireyin içinde bulunduğu durumu anlamak için önemli veriler sağlamaktadır. Araştırmanın analiz aşamasında içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılarak verilerin analizince Maxqda 2024 Analytics Pro programından yararlanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler “İntihar Öncesi Durum ve Düşünceler”, “Yaşam Algısı ve Benlik Yapısı” ve "Rasyonalizasyon ve İntihar Sonrası" olmak üzere üç ana tema altında incelenmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlar, bireylerin umutsuzluk ile başlayan süreçlerinin sosyal ve mesleki yaşamlarını olumsuz etkilediğini ve zamanla intihar düşüncelerini güçlendirdiğini ortaya koymaktadır. Özellikle sosyal medya üzerinden paylaşılan içerikler, bu bireylerin psikolojik durumlarının detaylı bir şekilde analiz edilmesini sağlamıştır. Bu tür analizlerin toplumsal sağlığa katkı sağlayacağı ve intihar süreçlerinden geçen bireylerin topluma yeniden entegrasyonunu destekleyeceği düşünülmektedir. Bulunan veriler, intiharın sadece bireysel bir eylem olmadığını, aynı zamanda toplumsal bir olgu olduğunu ve medyanın bu konuda önemli bir rol oynadığını göstermektedir. Bu durumun toplumsal sağlığa katkıları olacağına ve bu gibi süreçlerden geçen bireylerin yeniden topluma entegre olmalarını destekleyeceğine inanılmaktadır.

Analysis of Pre-suicide Recorder Videos and Notes Using Content Analysis Method

Öz

The presentation of suicide attempts through media-sourced video content and suicide notes offers significant insights for understanding the circumstances of both individuals and society at large. This study encompasses suicide cases over the past 25 years, aiming to explore the meaning of suicide from a comprehensive perspective that includes both individual and societal dimensions. The expression forms of suicide provide crucial data for understanding societal functions and the conditions individuals are in. During the analysis phase of the research, content analysis methodology was utilized, with the aid of Maxqda 2024 Analytics Pro software. The data collected were examined under three main themes: “Pre-Suicidal State and Thoughts,” “Perception of Life and Self-Structure”, and “Rationalization and Post-Suicide”. The results reveal that processes beginning with despair negatively impact individuals' social and professional lives, gradually strengthening suicidal thoughts. Notably, content shared on social media has facilitated a detailed analysis of these individuals' situations. Such analyses are believed to contribute to societal health and support the reintegration of individuals who have gone through suicidal processes back into society. The findings indicate that suicide is not merely an individual act but also a societal phenomenon, with the media playing a significant role in this context. It is believed that this situation will contribute to societal health and support the reintegration of individuals who have experienced such processes back into society.
