SINIF ÖĞRETMENİ ADAYLARININ COĞRAFYA DERSİNE OLAN İLGİ DÜZEYLERİ VE CİNSİYET FARKLILIKLARI

Öz

Araştırma, öğretmen adaylarının coğrafya dersine olan ilgi düzeylerini ve ilgideki cinsiyet farklılıklarını belirlemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Karadeniz Teknik Üniversitesi Giresun Eğitim Fakültesi Sınıf Öğretmenliği Programında okuyan 208 öğrenci örneklem olarak seçilmiştir. Seçilen öğrencilerin coğrafya dersine karşı ilgilerini ölçmek amacıyla 18 maddelik likert tipi bir tutum ölçeği geliştirilmiş ve öğrencilere uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler t-testi ile analiz edilmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçları öğrencilerin coğrafya dersine olan ilgilerinin düşük olduğunu ve cinsiyet farklılığı bulunmadığını göstermiştir.
