An In Vitro Evaluation Of Adhesive Strength Of The Simple Space Maintainers On Different Decidious Teeth Surfaces

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the bonding of simple space maintainers to different surfaces of primary teeth with a flowable composite resin, in vitro. For this reason, recently extracted maxillary-mandibulary deciduous canines and maxillary-mandibulary primary II. molars were used equal numbers. The samples were prepared for teeth surfaces with rectangular wire 0.54x0.63 mm in dimentions and bonded to the surfaces satisfied. The prepared samples were termocycled in water baths between 5-56C for 500 cycles, and teeth were subjected to resistance test against pressure with a cross-head speed 0.5 inch/min by using Hounsfield Tensometer. The data obtained was analyzed with the One-way ANOVA test statistically significant difference, between groups (P>0.05). When fracture modes were compared, no statistically significant difference was found (P>0.05).

Farklı Ayak Süt Dişi Yüzeylerine Basit Sabit Yer Tutucuların Bağlanma Güçlerinin İn-Vitro Olarak Değerlendirilmesi

Öz

Çalışmamızın amacı, basit sabit yer tutucuların akıcı bir kompozit rezin(Tetric Flow) ile farklı süt dişi yüzeylerine bağlanma güçlerinin in-vitro olarak değerlendirmektir. Bu amaç için, kısa bir süre önce çekilmiş eşit sayıda alt-üst süt kanin dişleri ve alt-üst süt II. azı dişleri kullanılmıştır. Diş yüzeylerine 0,53x0,64 mm köşeli telden yer tutucu modeller hazırlanmış ve akıcı kompozit rezin kullanılarak uygun duruma getirilmiş yüzeylere yapıştırılmıştır. Hazırlanan örneklere 500 kez ısı banyosu uygulanmış ve daha sonra, örnekler Hounsfield Tensometresi kullanılarak 0,5 inch/dk’lık başlık hızı ile basınca karşı direnç testine tabi tutulmuşlardır. Elde edilen verilere tek yönlü variyans analizi uygulanmış ve gruplar arasında istatistiksel olarak önemli bir farklılık belirlenememiştir (P>0,05). Ayrıca, başarısızlık şekilleri arasında da farklılık bulunmamıştır(P>0,05).
