The aim of this study is to determine the views of pre-service science and technology teachers about nature of technology.Pre-service science and technology teachers have been joined in this research.In order to determine the pre-service teachers’ views about the nature of technology “Instrument Views on Nature of Technology” was used.Pre-service science and technology teachers interviews have been done in order to reveal participants’ views on nature of technology in depth. At the end of the research, it has been reached that preservice teachers have misconceptions about the nature of technology. Although the pre-service teachers have acceptable views about definition of technology, these pre-service teachers have realistic views about influence of society on technology. The pre-service teachers have inadequate views about relationship between technology and science, especially the pre-service teachers not know the technology advancing as independent from science. The pre-service teachers have traditional views about social of technology
