Öz
In triangular structure of heat / sea / sun, the fire sends back frequently to the liveliness of the heat, to the passion of the sea, to the fusion of the sun, alcohol: it is the water which blazes with the consummation of the consciences, dislocation in the unlimitedness of the world or in the friction of bodies, in the caress, that is in the sexuality of the lovers in Duras’s Les Petits Chevaux de Tarquinia. We can indeed understand the novel of Duras when we examine her personal imagination, what really fascinates her and what haunts her repetitively. Really, the appearance of the fire in the theory of Bachelard would thus be of sexual origin: the friction of pieces of wood represents the friction of the bodies of the lovers, sexually did not unite, that is poetics, and not of rational origin, because the rational interpretation explained at the same time the discovery of the fire by its purification.

Tarquinia’nın Küçük Atları’ romanında Ateş İmgeleri (sıcak/deniz/güneş)
Sıcak/deniz/güneş üçlemesinde göndermeler sık sık ateşe, sıcağın canlılığına, deniz tutkusuna, güneşin yakıcılığına, bilincin erimesiyle yanan suya ; yani, alkole, evrenin genişliğinde dağılmaya, bedenlerin sürtünmesine, yani sevgililerin cinselliğine yöneliktir. Duras’ın anlatı evrenine özgü imgelemini ele aldığımızda onu gerçekte neyin büyülediğini ve sık sık hangi imgeleri yinelediğini daha yakından gözlemlemekteyiz. Aslında, yöntem olarak seçilen Bachelard’ın ateş kuramı geniş ölçüde cinsel kaynaklıdır.
