: Fasiyolozis Karaciğer Koyun Metabolik profil Oksidatif stres
yok
It was aimed to determine the possible effects of fascioliasis on metabolic profile in sheep in the Iğdır region and to reveal whether it develops oxidative stress. The study material was carried out in 65 sheep over 2 years old, 50 with fascioliasis, and 15 healthy, registered at the Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry in the center and districts of Iğdır. According to biochemical analysis, serum ALT, AST, and SDH values of sheep with fascioliasis were not found to be different (P>0.05) compared to the control group. Serum was higher (P<0.05) in sheep with ALP and GGT certified fascioliasis compared to the healthies (P<0.05). Serum glucose level was lower in fascioliasis animals compared to healthy animals (P<0.01). When the serum BHBA and NEFA values of sheep with fascioliasis and healthy sheep were compared, the difference was insignificant (P>0.05). While the serum MDA and TOS of sheep with fascioliasis were significantly higher than those who controlled the state (P<0.05), TAS level was found to be significantly lower (P<0.05). Conclusion serum ALP, GGT, MDA, and TOS values increased while glucose and TAS values decreased in sheep with fascioliasis obtained from the center and districts of Iğdır. There was no difference in AST, ALT, SDH, BHBA, and NEFA values. Thus, it was concluded that while oxidative stress develops in fasciolosis in sheep, there is no change in energy balance.
