Morkaraman Kuzularının Vücut Ölçüleri ve Karkas Parça Ağırlıkları Arasındaki İlişkinin Değerlendirilmesinde Kanonik Korelasyon Analizinin Kullanılması

Öz
Çok değişkenli istatistiksel yöntemlerden birisi olan kanonik korelasyon analizi her birisi birden fazla değişken içerebilen iki
değişken grubu arasındaki ilişkiyi analiz etmeye yarar. Çalışmamızda Morkaraman erkek kuzularından alınan 10 adet vücut ölçüsü ve
11 adet karkas parça ağırlığı arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Kanonik ağırlıklar, kanonik yükler ve çapraz yükler incelenerek, kanonik
varyetelerin anlamları orjinal değişkenler cinsinden yorumlanmaya çalışılmıştır. İlk kanonik varyete çifti arasındaki kanonik
korelasyon 0.991 olarak belirlenmistir. Bu ilişkinin yüksek olması, söz konusu hayvanların vücut ölçümlerine bağlı olarak, karkas
parça ağırlıklarını tahminlemedeki isabet derecesinin de yüksek olacağını göstermektedir.
