The concept of ‘Information Demand’ in the tourism sector

Öz

Analysing the current state of information provision in the tourism sector, studying document flow in this field, identifying information consumers in the tourism sector and improving the future development model of document flow in this field are some of the main tasks facing librarianship. The article summarises the work that needs to be done to solve the common problems that arise during the study of information needs in the field of information provision in the field of librarianship and tourism, and presents the concept of information need and its scientific and theoretical explanation. In analysing the issue of information demand in the tourism sector, the formation of information demand in this sector and its role in the system of human needs are examined.

Turizm sahəsi üzrə “İnformasiya tələbatı” konsepsiyası

Öz

Turizm sahəsinin informasiya təminatının mövcud vəziyyətini öyrənmək, bu sahəyə dair sənəd axınının tədqiqini aparmaq, turizm sahəsi üzrə informasiya tələbatçılarını müəyyən etmək, bu sahə üzrə sənəd axınının gələcək inkişaf modelini təkmilləşdirmək kitabxanaşünaslığın və biblioqrafiyaşünaslığın qarşısında duran əsas vəzifələrdən biridir. Məqalədə turizmin kitabxana-informasiya təminatı sahəsində informasiya tələbatının öyrənil¬məsi zamanı meydana çıxan ümumi problemlərin həlli məqsədilə görüləcək işlər qeyd edilmiş, informasiya tələbatı anlayışı, onun elmi və nəzəri cəhətdən izahı göstərilmişdir. Turizm sahəsi üzrə informasiya tələbatı məsələsi təhlil edilərkən ilk növbədə bu sahənin informasiya tələ¬batının genezisinə, onun insan tələbatları sistemində rolu araşdırılmışdır.
