Implementation of Digital Technologies and Innovations in the Department of National Archives of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Archiving is one of the fields of activity that develops the history, theory, methodology, organisation, methodology, source studies, history, sociology, law, and interacts with literature, art, informatics and other sciences. The management of archival work provides for the management of archival work by both traditional and electronic methods and tools. The tasks of archival offices include the systematic recording, archiving, preservation, conservation, storage and regulation of public use of historical documents, manuscripts and sources received from various author organisations. The documents in archive offices enable the examination of the history, science, culture, art, in short, the entire historical past of the country based on facts, ancient and modern historical sources and play an important role in providing information for scientific research. This article examines the application of digital technologies in the National Archives of the Republic of Azerbaijan, their importance in providing information to users and making documents accessible. The activities of the Department ‘Digitalisation of archival work and innovations’ are followed, and the forms and importance of electronic information services implemented in the Department are included in the study. Based on the website and reports of the National Archives Office, the Ministry investigates the impact of electronic services on users' provision of information, analyses the results and makes a series of recommendations and suggestions.

Azərbaycan Respublikası Milli Arxiv İdarəsində Rəqəmsal Texnologiyaların Tətbiqi və İnnovasiyalar

Öz

Arxivşünaslıq arxiv işinin tarixini, nəzəriyyəsini, metodologiyasını, təşkilini, metodikasını işləyib hazırlayan fəaliyyət sahələrindən biridir, mənbəşünaslıq, tarix, sosiologiya, hüquq, ədəbiyyat, incəsənət, informatika və digər başqa elmlərlə qarşılıqlı əlaqədə inkişaf edir. Arxiv işinin menecmenti arxiv işinin idarə olunmasının həm ənənəvi, həm də elektron üsul və vasitələrlə həyata keçirilməsini təmin edir. Bu məqalədə Azərbaycan Respublikasının Milli Arxiv idarəsində rəqəmsal texnologiyaların tətbiqi, istidəçilərin informasiya təminatında və sənədlərin əlçatan olmasında onun əhəmiyyət araşdırılır. “Arxiv işlərinin rəqəmsallaşdirilmasi və innovasiyalar” şöbəsinin fəaliyyətinin monitorinqi aparılır və idarədə həyata keçirilən elektron informasiya xidmətlərinin formaları və əhəmiyyəti tədqiqata cəlb olunur. Milli arxiv idarəsinin saytına və hesabatlarına əsasən idarədə elektron xidmətlərin istifadəçilərin informasiya təminatına təsiri öyrənilir, nəticələr təhlil olunur, bir sıra təkliflər və tövsiyələr verilir.
