This study examines the spiritual dimensions of the ancient Turkish mythological worldview within the broader system of archaic beliefs. Early human attempts to explain the origin and structure of the universe led different societies to develop philosophical-theological concepts that placed a primordial divine being or a fundamental element, such as water, at the beginning of creation. Similar to the views of the Milesian school, ancient Turkic cosmogonies also regarded water as the initial source of existence. Remarkably, parallels between the mythological traditions of the Turks and those of various Indigenous American cultures highlight the universal nature of archaic cosmological thinking. The article further argues that mythological and religious values transcended ethnic boundaries and contributed to the moral foundations of diverse societies. In the ancient Turkish worldview, notions such as homeland, familial unity, and the sanctity of the hearth held significant spiritual meaning. The Book of Dede Korkut exemplifies this through its emphasis on ancestral land and the
