Açık ve uzaktan öğrenmede destek hizmetleri: Yerelden küresele bir model önerisi

Öz

Uzaktan eğitim kurumlarının sağladıkları hizmetleri tanıtmaları, potansiyel öğrenci adayları ve kuruma kayıtlı öğrencileri ile
iletişim kurmaları web sayfaları aracılığıyla mümkün olmaktadır. Uzaktan eğitimde mekan ve zaman bağlamında algılanan
uzaklığı ortadan kaldırmak, etkileşim ortamlarının ve araçlarının işe koşulmasıyla sağlanmaktadır. Web sayfalarının kurduğu
etkileşimde kullanılan araçlardan biri de destek hizmetleri ve malzemeleridir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, dünyada açık ve uzaktan
öğrenme alanında faaliyet gösteren yükseköğretim kurumlarının destek hizmetlerini web tabanlı içerik analizi yöntemiyle
incelemektir. İngilizce dil seçeneği sunma ve kurumun web sayfasında destek hizmetleri materyallerinin bulunma durumları
dikkate alınarak, toplam 60 kurum araştırmaya dahil edilmiştir. Her web sayfası için betimleyici ve ilişkisel analizler
tamamlandığında, oluşturulan kodları ve temaları kapsayan bir destek hizmetleri modeli geliştirilmiştir.
